You Are a Powerhouse

In 1 Peter 2:9, it tells us an important truth “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light”. If we belong to Jesus, we carry the presence of the living God with us every day of our lives. We don’t have to feel anointed to be anointed! The enemy will always try to get us to go by our feelings. To do that, he hits us with thoughts of inadequacy, fear, and doubt. I’m sure you could add a lot of others to that list of crazy thoughts. He will use anything he can to keep us from realizing who we are in Christ Jesus. Every time we step into the grocery store, into the work place, the school house or our living room, we carry the presence of God. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 3:20 that “He will do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that works in us.” The word for power in the Greek is dunamis and it means Holy Spirit driven power. There’s a reason why the Word of God tells us to be Spirit led instead of emotion driven. We have His spirit dwelling inside us right now ready to go forward. If we go by our feelings or our emotions, we will stop the flow of God. Instead, we go by what we KNOW. God will never leave us or forsake us. When you THINK you’re standing by yourself, just KNOW that you’re not standing alone. And when you THINK you’re speaking your own words just KNOW that He is speaking through you. Never doubt His anointing on your life!
