The Missing Piece

The world is full of people who can manage their surroundings but they can’t manage their lives. The Bible tells us that God has to be the center of everything we do! There’s a reason for that. When God created you and me, He created us with a place that only HE can fill. We can spend years without understanding what that means. We’re like a giant jigsaw puzzle with a piece missing. Without it we will never be able to show the world who we were really created to be. Let’s face it folks, we need the “God” piece right smack in the middle where it belongs. The world has a lot of fake pieces to offer us. We see people every day who are miserable and fill their lives with drugs and alcohol and all kinds of ungodly behavior. We can have all the things that money can buy, win awards for all of our successes and enjoy the praises of man but at the same time, our lives can be spinning out of control. The emptiness inside can never be filled by “things” not even the best things that money can buy. We all know people who are looking for that “piece of the puzzle”. In John 10:10 it says “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. But Jesus said I have come that you may have life, and have it more abundantly.” When you get God where He needs to be, which is right in the middle of your everyday life, you’re going to see a settling in your spirit and peace like a river will begin to flow through your life. You see, God is a God of order and He can bring order out of your mess. If your life is out of order, God is always the missing piece!
