Hands Off!

Have you ever gotten to a place in your life where you’ve done everything you know to do? You’ve tried everything and everything has failed. The Bible tells us in Luke 4:18 that the Spirit of the Lord has equipped us to handle the problems of life. It says “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised”. When you team up with God your life changes. You no longer handle things on your own. You know that He has the answers. No matter what you’re going through, it’s never too late for God. Your job is to pry your fingers off the steering wheel of life, step away from the mess (you’re only making it worse) and let the Expert take over. I know that sounds easy but it’s not easy to put into practice. We have to trust that God is in control and He really does care about our lives and the people in them. He knows how to bring all things together at the same time to fix your situation. And when He’s done, you’ll look at it with amazement and say, “Can you believe that!?” What you’re going through may look impossible to you but the Bible says “with God all things are possible.” Today, you be you and let God be God. He does it so much better….just sayin’!
