Closed Doors

Doors could be closed with circumstances, other people, or by the “adversary” meaning the old devil himself. After all he is very cunning, deceiver, father of lies as the Scripture calls him. God is ultimately ALWAYS in control…and yes he allows doors to be closed through our life. You may wonder….why?? Well HE allows circumstances or puts people in our path to teach us. These are points that learning is never complete as we study HIS WORD: To keep us from making a mistake; we don’t know all the facts. To build our faith to trust him more. Proverbs 3 tells us “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding; acknowledge him in all your ways and he will direct your path.” To better prepare us for what he has in store for you. It is important to stay faithful while waiting upon the Lord. Faithful in hope, prayer and reading His Word. To redirect us to greater fruitfulness and satisfaction. Doesn’t that sound something worth waiting for? The Lord is faithful, always at work in your life…if you open your heart, ask him in…open that Bible…He is waiting to speak to you! He wants to hear from you with prayers…imagine you are talking to your best friend (because you are)! Watch and listen expectantly…the door will open! Blessings!!! Gayle Harrell
