Christmas!

Spent yesterday with the family! Our daughter Tina hosted the event and what a production! From a table full of food to a ceiling to floor Christmas tree, it was a sight to behold! As I sat on the couch watching the grandkids opening presents and their parents visiting with each other, I was overwhelmed with a sense of thankfulness. God was doing more than just what I could see with the natural eye. I have prayed for each one of them and I know that those prayers are being answered. The little ones are under 4 1/2 years old but I am praying into their future. I see mighty warriors in the kingdom being shaped by God. I am even praying over who they will marry someday. God has plans and purposes for these children and their families. What a blessing…it was quite a crowd…Tina, Becky, Ben, Sara, Jon, Nikki, Ella Grace, Grayson and Jude were the stars (and co-starring Buster and Otis). Jerry and I rounded out the group!! As they used to say in the newspaper, “a good time was had by all”. Funny how, as you grow older, you cherish family times more than ever. Praying that you have a blessed holiday season.
