  Jesus called us to win souls, not arguments! In order to win souls we need a few things operating in our life…a passion to see others come to Jesus, a love for all mankind and a heart that doesn’t judge. Arguments start when someone doesn’t agree with us. Perhaps we’ve forgotten that we walked in sin before Jesus found us. Do you really think you can badger people into the kingdom? You and I are fishers of men…our bait is love. And then when they accept Jesus as Savior, He cleans them up. So let’s work on our love and forget the arguments.

  I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that you and I are free to make our own choices every day. The bad news is that we are not free from the consequence of our choices. I’m pretty sure that’s a picture of reaping what we sow. Might be a good idea to ask God for wisdom every day of our lives. Then we’ll always have a good crop and no regrets.

There is always, always, always something to be thankful for. I’ve noticed we have great opportunity every day to complain from the weather to other people, from life situations to sickness…God tells us not only to LOOK for the good but then to praise Him even when we don’t feel like it. Time to shift our focus and walk in thankfulness every day. The more you operate in thankfulness, the better life becomes

If you talk behind someone’s back you can bet your bottom dollar, somebody will tell them. Even if it was a private conversation that no one else was supposed to hear, there’s always someone who loves to stir trouble…Those words can come back to bite you. Think before you speak. What kind of people like to stir? Those that don’t care who gets hurt! If you’re one who can’t wait to tell someone that another person was talking bad about them, you should be ashamed. Hurting people is never okay.

  Here’s a simple thought for you: USE things, not people. LOVE people, not things. If we can get this straight, our life and the lives of those around us will be so much better.

We can never know what all the ocean has to offer if we keep our eyes focused on the shore. We’re missing one of God’s greatest creations. Life is like the ocean. There’s a great big world out there…really big. We can miss so much if we always keep our eyes on us, our problems and our past. Look forward! Look up!! God has something wonderful planned for your life…re-focus and check out the possibilities.
