  The only thing that matters is how much we love. And yet we are more concerned about how we look, what we wear and how much money we have. If love is the only thing that matters, then shouldn’t we be doing everything we can to cultivate love in our lives. What does that look like? We will love God with all our heart, we will love others unconditionally and we will love ourselves.

  If you ever have the urge to judge someone who is still mired in sin, be careful how you proceed. Hold this thought…Every sinner has a future and every saint has a past. Isn’t it amazing how easy it is to see the sin in others but forget we battled the same sin? Somehow it looks different on them!

  Is your world in a spin? Do you see problems everywhere you look? You can worry or you can trust God but you can’t do both. Trusting God brings peace and victory. You never get anything from worrying except a bad case of wrinkles and sleepless nights.

Sin wouldn’t look so good if the “wages” were paid immediately. When dealing with Satan, all that glitters really isn’t gold. He can make things look so good. He can put a lust in your heart that’s all consuming and he can play on your emotions. Having said that…he is a master of bait and switch. Listen to the Holy Spirit and keep your eyes on the Word. He will show you the tricks of the devil before you get hooked. Don’t fall for Satan’s lies. There’s no good ending when he’s involved.

  Ever feel like you know God’s got the wheel, but you can’t help but think you might doing a little off-roading at times? Why is it that the hills look so high and the valleys so deep? Why do we think the “smooth” will never happen? God’s got this! Hang on! The road may be bumpy, the storms may come hard and fast, but you have a God that will get you through whatever you have to face. Besides, a little off-roading may be just what you need. Makes life interesting!

As I read through FB, I am amazed at the Christians who verbally bash anyone who doesn’t agree with them. Demeaning, tearing down, judgmental attitudes are all Satan based. I expect that from the world but not from believers. You may think you’re doing God a favor by spouting out “truths”. But if there’s no love and no kindness when you speak those truths, you are a loud clanging bell that does more harm than good.
