Leave Behind a Treasure
” The one who plants trees, knowing that he will never sit in their shade, has started to understand the meaning of life. “ What are you doing today that will change the world for a better tomorrow? The generation to come needs each and every one of us…both in the things we do physically and the spiritual inheritance we leave behind.
Judged by God
It may seem like the world {and its values} is a good place to live. We can do what we want to do…And we don’t have to answer to anybody! Of course, there’s always a day of reckoning. Just between you and me, I would rather stand with God and be judged by the world, than stand with the world and be judged by God.
I Pressed On
If you rearrange the letters in depression you’ll get “ I pressed on”. If you find yourself in a place of depression, it’s time to press on! Where you are right now isn’t where you will always be. It isn’t your final destination…unless you refuse to move forward. Start by talking to Jesus and asking Him to heal your mind and your emotions. The Bible says He will give you a garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness. See, you already have something to praise Him for!
No Crumbling Allowed
Let’s face it. We can’t judge others by the way they appear on the outside. We may think someone is really strong. But they may just be a weak person with a very strong God. If you find yourself in that place today and you feel like you could crumble at any minute, it’s time to lean into God. He will NEVER leave you…and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory! You’re going to be okay.
Life is Strange
Life is so strange! It takes sadness for us to know what true happiness feels like. And it takes noise for us to finally appreciate silence. But most of all, it takes absence to value “presence”. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder. When someone is gone from our lives, we can hold them in our heart and cherish the memories. We’ll find that the heart will overflow with joy.
