  Hard day ahead? Feeling a little discouraged? God is with you right now. The Spirit of the living God has taken up residence within you. Whatever you face, God is right there…just the two of you walking right through the day hand in hand. There are so many things I’m thankful for and one of them is that the Holy Spirit knows what I will face and how to get me through it. He has placed exactly what I need within me. I am equipped and so are you!

A lion doesn’t lose sleep over the opinions of the sheep! So get out there and get your ROAR on…no more worrying what this one thinks or that one thinks. This is your life to live the way you choose. We all have to make choices based on our walk with God. He’s the One we answer to…not the other sheep!

You live life differently when you know you’re loved and accepted. When you know that no one is going to judge you, there’s a freedom to be yourself. No walking on eggshells. The very atmosphere around you changes from negative to positive. What a gift we can give someone when we love and accept them…and how wonderful it is to have that love and acceptance returned.      

  Here’s the good news! We are not graded on the curve. We won’t be compared to Billy Graham or Beth Moore. God just wants us to use the gifts and abilities He has placed within us. So if you have a talent for baking, find someone to bless. If you are an encourager, send someone a card. If you’re a giver, find someone to bless. Start small but each day look for ways to please your Heavenly Father by using your God given gifts and talents.

”Without rain, nothing grows.” That’s true in nature and it’s true in our lives. That’s why we can praise God in the middle of the storm. We know that God is doing some amazing things in areas we can’t see. Learn to embrace the storms of your life. They are working a greater purpose.

  Do you know that your “outside” is only a reflection of your “inside”? When I was a little girl my mother always used to say pretty is as pretty does. Those words ring in my ears to this day. But do you know that we cannot DO “pretty” when our insides are full of anger, unforgiveness, bitterness and unkindness? The more God changes the inside, the better we look on the outside. Let me just take a moment to say that some of you are a definite #10…absolutely beautiful (or handsome in case you’re a fella!) Yep, God is causing all of us to look better day by day!
