If you’re truly helping someone and expecting something in return, you’re doing business, not acting out of kindness. Giving without expecting is one of the best feelings in the world. When you don’t expect, you can operate in freedom. If you expect a return on your giving, you’re held in bondage waiting for it to appear

”If you don’t leave your past in the past, it will destroy your future. Live for what today has to offer, not for what yesterday has taken away.” One will cause you to look forward, the other keeps you tied to the past, living in regret and sadness

  ”Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you are stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.” Some scars are surface but some are buried so deep, you’re the only one that knows they’re there. Whatever you went through, God had hold of you and brought you through…you may look a little worse for wear but thank God that you’re still standing.

  Just because my path is different than yours doesn’t mean I’m lost. We all have a path to walk on that was laid down by God. That’s why you can’t tell me how to walk through life and I can’t tell you how to walk through life. It’s best that we all “tend to our own knittin’’…we haven’t got a clue what God is doing in someone else’s life. Golly, most of the time, we don’t know what He’s doing in ours!

  It’s tough when someone special starts to ignore you, but it’s even tougher to pretend that you don’t care. Let’s face it, being ignored or rejected is painful…especially when you don’t know why! And trying to put on a happy face about the whole situation is nearly impossible. Just remember that people are fickle pickles and those worth their salt will stay in your life. Others will come and go. So don’t grieve over what you’ve lost. Move on!
