I know that you want God to do what you’ve asked Him to do. I know you’ve been waiting for Him to open that door. But everything God does is for your benefit. And if it’s not good for you, know this: If it doesn’t open, it’s not your door. You can try to kick it in, push it in or pull it off the hinges but when God says no, He means no. The right door that’s just for you will open wide even before you get there.

Never let fear decide your future. Fear will always take you to a place “lower” than what God had planned for you. With fear, you’re earthbound. With faith, you can soar like an eagle. With fear, you’ll sit down. With faith, you’ll rise up. With fear, you will never be what you are created to be. With faith, all things are possible. Make the right decision because your future depends on it.

  If nobody notices the things you’ve done, don’t lose heart. The sun puts on an amazing show every morning at daybreak and most people sleep right through it. If people miss the display of God’s beauty, they can also miss the display of your goodness, kindness, generosity and love. Let’s face it, God created the sun to shine and He created us to do the same. And whether anybody else notices really doesn’t matter. We know Creator God notices and says: It is good!!

Sometimes we think that the pain of loneliness is unbearable. Think about this: it’s not always loneliness that’s the problem, it’s the feeling of being rejected. When friends don’t call, when the church folk don’t talk to us, when we’re not included in group conversations, when we go to a restaurant and no one asks us to sit with them…so many ways to be included and exactly the same amount of ways to be rejected. I’m praying for you today.

Sometimes when you think things are falling apart, they might just be falling into place. I know it hurts. I know it doesn’t make sense. I know that you feel out of control and life is spinning. That’s the bad news. Here’s the good news. When you’re out of control and spinning, that’s exactly when God can step in. You let go and He grabs hold. I think the best part of God is that He picks up the pieces and makes a masterpiece when He puts your life back together. Everything has purpose in God’s kingdom…even the pain.

A ship is always safe at shore but that’s not what it was created for…you’re always safe in your Sunday morning pew but that’s not what you were created for! You were meant to take this Gospel into all the world. How do you do that? Feed the hungry, love the unlovable, clothe the naked, visit the prisoners…reach out beyond your comfort zone and you’ll see exactly what you were created for!!
