Fully Committed
I’d like to tell you that you will always feel God’s Presence, always hear His voice, always be without troubles in your life but none of that is truth. What I AM telling you is that it’s time to establish time with Him now, building yourself up, fully committed so when those times come, you’re prepared and full of faith.
Give 100%
Whatever you’re going through, there is a God who is watching you and He will provide strength to those who are fully committed…100% followers of Christ. How do I know that? In II Chronicles 16, it says: The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. Do you need strength today? If so, here’s your answer! God will give it to you IF… Are you sold out to Jesus, 100%? Good news if you said yes! You will have strength to overcome whatever you face today.
What is Faith
Faith is not the belief that God will do what we want. It’s the belief that God will do what’s right. God has purpose in every decision He makes. We may not understand why He didn’t do what we prayed for, but we can rest assured He answered it the way it SHOULD have been answered.
Seasons!
One of the things I wish I’d been more aware of was the importance of seasons. I seemed to fly through them always looking towards the next season and wishing it would get here quickly. I wish I had slowed down and lived in the moment more. So my advice is this: Cherish where you are in life because it will quickly fade and another one will take its place. And cherish the people that “live” in that season. Some seasons are better than others, some are easier and some more difficult. But each season has something beautiful to offer if we’ll just slow down and live in the moment.
It’s Not All Bad!!
Sometimes what looks like a really bad thing just might be the hand of God. The story is told of a janitor at St. Peter’s Church in London. One day a young vicar discovered that the janitor was illiterate and fired him. Jobless, the man invested his meager savings in a tiny business, where he prospered, bought another, expanded, and ended up with a chain of stores worth several hundred thousand dollars. One day the man’s banker said, “You’ve done well for an illiterate, but where would you be if you could read and write?” “Well,” replied the man, “I’d be janitor of St. Peter’s Church in Neville Square.” Don’t let the circumstances of life that appear to be the worst thing ever mislead you from God’s true purposes for your life. Just thank Him even if you don’t understand Him.
A New Song
Beethoven was terrified that he would become totally deaf and be unable to write beautiful music. But what he feared the most happened. He became totally deaf. And then an amazing thing happened. He began to write the best music of his life. Why? Because in the total silence with no distractions, he began to hear the music playing in his heart. The Bible says that God has given us a “new song” and the way we hear it best is when we sit quietly and shut out all the distractions
