Life is Strange
Life is so strange! It takes sadness for us to know what true happiness feels like. And it takes noise for us to finally appreciate silence. But most of all, it takes absence to value “presence”. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder. When someone is gone from our lives, we can hold them in our heart and cherish the memories. We’ll find that the heart will overflow with joy.
Can’t Beat God’s Peace
Peace is not the absence of trouble but the presence of God. That’s why the world can’t give you peace. Peace is a fruit of the Holy Spirit that dwells in all believers. Doesn’t matter what’s happening around you…no matter how great the storm, or how deep the valley, God’s Spirit can bring peace into your life when you keep your eyes on Jesus. Try it!
Bloom Where You are Planted
When you don’t feel like you’re “enough”, when you look around and think everybody else does things better than you, remember this: A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms. And every flower is beautiful in its own way. So folks, bloom where you’re planted! Forget the other “flowers” and be the best that YOU can be.
Something to Think About
Oh to see Jesus and experience the wonders that He has prepared for us. I can’t help but wonder if after five minutes inside eternity, will we wish that we had sacrificed more, wept more, loved more, grieved for the lost, prayed more, sweated more, and given more? Think about it
Greater is He in me!
I love the verse in I John 4:4 that says “Greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the world.” When you accept Jesus as your Savior, there is something inside of you that the enemy fears. His name is Jesus and His Spirit is clearing the path for you this very day. Someone who has lived in fear all your life needs to hear this. You ARE exactly the person God is indwelling at this very moment…and He is all about winning, never losing. That means, He will make sure that you can overcome every obstacle in your path.
