We all need MORE! We need more sleep, more books, more sunsets, more long walks, more laughter, more hugs, more fun, more of God and more love. I don’t know about you but I want MORE of all of those things. In life we need to water the flowers and not the weeds. Pour into the positive people and things in your life. Weeds tend to crowd out the good stuff…the things we want MORE of!

    If we are a child of God, then we don’t meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our path for a reason. Maybe we will be a blessing to them by something we do or say. But then again, maybe they are put in our path to bless us! So the next time you wonder why you ran into an old friend, a homeless person, or someone you just don’t care for…Know this: Nothing happens by accident in the kingdom of God. Look for ways you can bless that person AND keep your heart open to receive whatever they are sending your direction.

  Hard day ahead? Feeling a little discouraged? God is with you right now. The Spirit of the living God has taken up residence within you. Whatever you face, God is right there…just the two of you walking right through the day hand in hand. There are so many things I’m thankful for and one of them is that the Holy Spirit knows what I will face and how to get me through it. He has placed exactly what I need within me. I am equipped and so are you!

A lion doesn’t lose sleep over the opinions of the sheep! So get out there and get your ROAR on…no more worrying what this one thinks or that one thinks. This is your life to live the way you choose. We all have to make choices based on our walk with God. He’s the One we answer to…not the other sheep!

You live life differently when you know you’re loved and accepted. When you know that no one is going to judge you, there’s a freedom to be yourself. No walking on eggshells. The very atmosphere around you changes from negative to positive. What a gift we can give someone when we love and accept them…and how wonderful it is to have that love and acceptance returned.      

  Here’s the good news! We are not graded on the curve. We won’t be compared to Billy Graham or Beth Moore. God just wants us to use the gifts and abilities He has placed within us. So if you have a talent for baking, find someone to bless. If you are an encourager, send someone a card. If you’re a giver, find someone to bless. Start small but each day look for ways to please your Heavenly Father by using your God given gifts and talents.
