No Debt

Don’t go into debt trying to show people how much you love them. Those are my words of wisdom for December. If people have to have a big expensive gift to keep loving you…something is wrong with the relationship. If you feel like you have to buy their love, something is still wrong with the relationship. Every year we promise ourselves that we will slow down on the spending. This year, make it happen! You’ll be so glad you did when January rolls around.

Cool as Cucumber

Or what about talking to Jesus and asking Him to calm your crazy insides. He loves doing an “inside job”. It’s His specialty.

People are Praying

You may never know how many people are praying for you. There are people who are praying for you without your presence and without your knowledge. All it takes is a simple prayer from someone who cares to change your “today” and change your “tomorrows”. That’s pretty exciting to me! Ever had this thought: ‘I wonder who’s praying for me?!’ or Who can I pray for today?!

Forgive Yourself

It’s time to forgive yourself for not knowing what you didn’t know until you lived through it. We can all look back and wonder how we could have been so stupid, wonder why we didn’t see the “truth” until it was too late. We need to cut ourselves some slack. We can’t go back and change things. All we can do is learn, grow, and forgive ourselves…and make a vow never to take THAT road again!
