Your Inner Voice
Don’t let the noise of others opinions drown out our own inner voice. In our heart of hearts, we know the direction in life we should go. God gave us a “knowing” in our spirit to receive the things He has for us. Listening to someone else’s opinion on how we should live our life is both a distraction and an utter waste of time
Shrinks or Expand
Life shrinks or expands in proportion to our faith. Big faith, big life…full of opportunities, blessings and favor. Little faith, little life…we won’t see or act on the opportunities, and the blessings and favor are never seen or received. This is the year to grow that faith! How do we grow in faith? Faith comes by hearing the Word of God.
Cave you Fear
The cave you fear to enter contains the treasure you seek. Satan’s greatest weapon for stopping you dead in your tracks is to bring fear…you know, the kind that takes your breath, that keeps you from making a decision, the kind that convinces you that you can’t move forward. The amazing things you desire are just ahead…don’t be afraid to step into whatever God places in front of you.
Future and Past
The future is made of the same stuff as the present. The only difference is how you look at it. If you see it for what it is…an opportunity to grow closer to Jesus…you won’t be afraid or complain about life. Otherwise you might just think God is punishing you, that you have it worse than anybody else or that your life will always be in a bad spot. Same stuff, different outlook. What will yours be?
God’s Timing
Don’t trade God’s timing for your deadline. Timing is everything. And when we hurry and push our agenda through, we will mess up and slow down the things that God has for us. Nobody likes to wait but we need to remember that God has the best plans for us personally. And we aren’t good enough or smart enough to do a better job than He does. So slow down and wait. It will be worth it!
NO Excuses
Moses made excuses…repeatedly. But God doesn’t accept excuses nor does He like to hear them…not from Moses and not from us. Bottom line is that we are to live our life by never making an excuse for any reason. Excuses are nothing more than us saying “God, I don’t want to do that!” Let’s replace our excuses with a great big YES! “Whatever you want God, I trust that you’ll give me the ability to do it!”
