Hurting People Not Okay

If you talk behind someone’s back you can bet your bottom dollar, somebody will tell them. Even if it was a private conversation that no one else was supposed to hear, there’s always someone who loves to stir trouble…Those words can come back to bite you. Think before you speak. What kind of people like to stir? Those that don’t care who gets hurt! If you’re one who can’t wait to tell someone that another person was talking bad about them, you should be ashamed. Hurting people is never okay.

Look Forward!

We can never know what all the ocean has to offer if we keep our eyes focused on the shore. We’re missing one of God’s greatest creations. Life is like the ocean. There’s a great big world out there…really big. We can miss so much if we always keep our eyes on us, our problems and our past. Look forward! Look up!! God has something wonderful planned for your life…re-focus and check out the possibilities.

Be Spirit Led

No matter how you feel, no matter what mood you’re in, remember that you’re always responsible for how you act and react. You and I are to be Spirit-led, not emotion driven. Never let your emotions override your wisdom and your mouth. Being responsible to follow the Spirit is not always what we want to do…but when we do, there’s no regrets, no “I’m sorry” and no choking on your words.

Slackers Not Allowed

God has given us so many wonderful gifts and blessings. He does that so we can do all that He has planned for our lives. That means we don’t LACK any good thing. That’s really not the problem. We don’t LACK, but we do SLACK when it comes to moving forward into the things God has for us. So I guess what I want to say is: Don’t slack because you don’t lack any good thing!! God saw to it that you were totally prepared for this world. Now walk in it!!

Today’s Challenge

  “Today’s challenge: know that there will always be obstacles in your path. Don’t allow yourself to be one of them”. What does that mean? It means always say yes to Jesus instead of saying no. Be sure to operate in faith, not fear. But most of all, take a minute to adjust your outlook… look at every obstacle as an opportunity because it is! You’ll see!
