God’s goodness never changes. Do you know when backsliders give up on their faith? It’s when God doesn’t do what they want Him to do and they fall away. When you understand that God’s love and goodness never changes, when you trust that He knows what’s best for you, your faith will grow by leaps and bounds.

I am in charge of my happiness. I will not let anything outside of myself control me. I am creating a life that feels good on the inside and it will turn into experiences that are good on the outside. I am following Jesus.

You are enough. You do enough. Breathe extra deep, let go, and just live right now in the moment. You are a special person and you don’t have to prove anything to anybody! Just know YOU ARE ENOUGH just like you are.

It’s your road, and yours alone. Others may walk it WITH you, but no one can walk it FOR you. So if you need advice, you might want to talk to God because He can see the BIG picture and your friends don’t have a clue. Remember, the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord! So talk to Him and find the path and the plan.

Only YOU are in charge of your happiness. Too many people believe they will be happy when they marry the right person, get the right job, have the right friends, find the right church or have the right kids. Others think they will be happy when they retire, when their problems are gone and when the next door neighbor moves. Your happiness isn’t dependent on the people or situations around you. Happiness starts within. If you have a strong relationship with Jesus, you can walk through anything and still hold on to your happiness.

The devil wants you to pay attention to your feelings, Jesus wants you to pay attention to His Truth. If you go by your feelings, Satan can plant lies in your mind and they will always go against the Word of God.
