Stop letting people who don’t love you keep you from loving yourself. And stop letting people who don’t want to see you happy keep you from your happiness.

One day you will tell the story of how you overcame what you went through and it will be someone else’s survival guide. You may think those were the darkest days of your life and no good thing could come out of it. Not true! God uses ever part of our life in a testimony. The darkest, most broken people are His specialty and He never leaves anybody behind.

Some of your minds are racing every night. You spend so many hours awake going over what should have been, could have been but never was. We can’t change yesterday. But we CAN change the future. You are holding the pen so make sure the next chapter counts.

Hurtful words can tear our hearts out. You see, we don’t just forget the words a few days later. All words have impact…good or bad. Some of you can remember words spoken over you 20, 30, 40 plus years ago. And if you’re not careful, you will continually give them a spin in your mind one more time. I know it sounds easy, but let them go. Catch the thought and turn it in a different direction before it gets you down one more time.

Peace is something you’ll never experience if you keep letting the things you can’t control, control you. When things control you, it weighs on your mind constantly. You think about it, worry about it, try to change it. But the bottom line is this…As long as you try to “handle” the situation, drama will come to the front and peace will go out the window

Don’t just believe in miracles. Depend on them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year after year. The Bible tells us that if we BELIEVE, we will RECEIVE. What would happen if we made up our mind to expect miracles every day in every situation? I believe God would blow our socks off!
